Congradulations TACRI! for the job ell done. I am a small farmer from Okaseni Village in Uru. I tried your N39 1 AND 2 year 2004. This season harvest I have to admit it will be realy good! I am expecting better harvest come year 2009 season! The problen is the price which is being offered by the KNCU this season for grade AA which is TSH.1,500/_ for this season 2008/2009. which will not cover investment and running cost. For TACRI keep up the exellent job you are doing of research on better coffee trees!. Cheers Peter Mchau. (0784-785435).

My father William "Tim" Leeman (1895-1949) was granted a 99 year lease hold on the land which became Ugano in the early 1930's. I have the photos of the meetings with the Wamatengo leaders discussing the lease. I left Ugano when I was four but returned to Tanzania in 1968. I served in the military against South Africa for sixteen years and have a home in Kilimanjaro but I have not yet returned to Ugano.
