NEW!! TaCRI RELEASES NEW ANNUAL REPORT
The Tanzania Coffee Research Institute (TaCRI) is very much pleased to welcome you to its latest Annual Report for the year 2008.
This Annual Report marks an important milestone for TaCRI - the end of the first 5-year SAP implementation period (2003-2008) and beginning of the second 5-year SAP cycle (2008-2013). The Annual Report for 2008 recaps the key achievements recorded during the first five years and outlines priorities for the second phase of implementation. Overall, the first SAP review was positive, the most notable achievements being the official release of improved high yielding Arabica varieties that combine resistance to coffee leaf rust (CLR) and coffee berry disease (CBD) along with good beverage quality and management of coffee wilt disease (CWD).
